Upcoming Sites in Development

Comments Off

Over the next two months (July and August), we hope to launch four new sites. But, we’ll need some great people to come on-board and lead and/or write for them.

The domains are bought, the servers are loaded and ready. So, what’s the wait? Well, we want to get PhoneNews.com in the best shape possible before expanding out. We’re also working on closing deals for MobileWiki.

And… there’s more. We have a lot of organizational work to do, in order to handle this expansion. Everything from internal collaboration, to raw paperwork, is in different stages of progressing.

What are those four sites? Well, you may be able to figure out a couple of those names. The first is a site that focuses on the Anime industry. Another focuses on the exciting new field of Nettop (aka Netbook) computers. We have a new deal-finding site in development. And, a gadget site that is focused on helping you get more out of your gadgets… after you’ve read the manual.

Want to know more about writing for any of these beats? Check our our jobs page, and feel free to ask any questions you might have.

And yes, we’re still looking for Mac and Windows developers…

Hi, Welcome to MechaWorks!

We’re opening the doors to MechaWorks today. Stay tuned, as we’re going to have a lot more info shortly.

MechaWorks was formed to create innovations in publishing, software, and consulting. You’ve already seen how we’ve changed the industry with PhoneNews.com. The same people are now working on a massive expansion of our operations, hence a new parent company.

In publishing, we’re going to be taking the technology that makes PhoneNews.com happen, and build out a completely new wave of web sites focused on what you’re interested in.

For software, we’re currently assembling a team that will be starting work on a major advance in how you use and maintain your computer. We’ll have more details on that down the road.

And, in consulting, our entire staff is available to work on your project, very large or extremely specific. Our first product in this arena will be announced tomorrow.

Like our news sites, we believe you should be able to find out the latest about us… right on the front page. So, stay tuned right here, and subscribe to our RSS feed for upcoming announcements.
